Unistone surfaces require minimum day-to-day maintenance. To keep them clean and hygienic, simply spray some warm soapy water on the surface and wipe it with a soft and non-scratching cloth. Please note that bleach, acid or other high PH chemical substances will damage the stone surface. If in contact with such substances, the surface must be rinsed immediately to avoid further damage.
A deeper clean of your stone surface has never been easier. We recommend mixing some non-abrasive cleaning products with warm water, and gently wipe the surface with a soft non-scratching cloth. Only gently rub on the area where you believe stain persists. Never excessively scrub or rub on your benchtop as this may cause dulling to the stone surface. After removing visible stains, remove all cleaning products and wipe down with clean warm water. To maintain the original shine, simply use a dry cloth to dry up the surface.
Our quartz products are heat resistant. However, similar to other stone material, a sudden and rapid change in surface temperature might cause damage to the surface. To avoid the unwanted damage, we recommend placing a cork mat underneath any hot kitchenware directly from the hot stove or oven.
To avoid damage to kitchen knives and stone surfaces, we recommend you to prepare food on a cutting board, instead of directly on the stone surface.
Placing excessive weight on the benchtop will damage the surface and might have an impact on the cabinet underneath. For your own safety, standing or jumping on the benchtop is also to be avoided.
